On the Opinion Page: March 17 (Special Kristol Edition)

17Mar08

In which The Gay Recluse scores selected opinions in The Times. (We missed this one because it was apparently taken off-line — or at least the link was taken off the front page — while Kristol addressed his mistakes.)

William Kristol/Generation Obama? Perhaps Not

The Short Version: Obama’s a fraud (but actually, I’m a fraud).

In his words: “For one thing, it’s becoming clear that Obama has been less than candid in addressing his relationship to his pastor, Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., of Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ.”

The Score: F (Fraudulent)
Kristol embarrasses himself (and The Times) by making allegations against Obama that ten seconds later proved to be untrue. Oops. As for the rest of it, a meandering character attack that’s best skipped.
