What makes this even funnier is that it looks like the J-Man might be involved, reminiscent of this hilarious piece of art(I tried to find a larger one, but YOU try google image searching "jesus+gay"): http://a182.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/36/m_8222939e642327e9492c58421b3693e5.jpg

The Sculpture Park is open free 365 a year. For another, if non-sexy, view of the Bourgeois piece (click on the interactive tour here: http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/visit/OSP/#

Thanks Waldo. Dan Savage actually posted a link to the LB sculpture on Slog when he wrote about our contest, but I was kind of hoping that someone else would send in a better pic -- in fact, I'm still hoping: there's lots of time! I also wasn't sure if you could see it without paying an admission fee; not that I wouldn't still be interested in a pic, but technically we're looking for at least quasi-public art that can be viewed gratis.

Speaking of Louise Bourgeois, at least an honorable mention should go to her work n Seattle's Olympic Sculpture Park. A gay Seattle man died and left a sackful of cash for a representational male sculpture in Seattle, the city pitched the task to Seattle Art Museum, and voila! a Bourgeois piece of a father and son separated by fountains was installed.

Once the design was announced the wingnuts went into predictable AM overdrive over its pervyness and potential to corrupt youth. The best overreaction was the Am talk show host who revealed that the sculptor must be a Marxist South American type. Luis Bourgeois, you know.
